Job summary

River City Post Acute in Carmichael, CA is seeking a Maintenance Director to lead the maintenance team and ensure the facility remains clean, safe, and compliant with applicable standards and regulations.

You will oversee boilers, HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems, plan repair programs, manage a budget, supervise staff, and coordinate new installations to support high-quality resident care. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years' experience operating boilers, compressors, generators, and mechanical systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring schematics, etc.
• Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and maintenance practices.
• Licensed in accordance with current applicable standards, codes, labor laws, etc.
• Ability to plan and carry out repair programs, new construction, and equipment installation.
• Ability to control and track direct spending and labor budgets.
• Supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

Must Have:
