Job summary

PepsiCo Lynchburg facility seeks a Maintenance Department Manager to lead the maintenance team, drive strategic planning, and manage site-wide project engineering. You will ensure resources, processes, and teams are aligned to achieve short- and long-term goals, delivering safe, reliable equipment and ongoing improvements.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 5+ years of leadership and maintenance experience, plus PLC knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations management, or similar field.
• 5+ years of leadership experience leading teams.
• 5+ years in operations maintenance or equivalent.
• Mechanical experience with equipment maintenance.
• Understanding of PLC programming preferred.
• PM skills including business development, compensation, CI decisions, and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Lynchburg Maintenance Department team.
• Oversee capital projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coach managers and team members to solve operational issues.
• Ensure safety, quality, cost, and service goals are met.
• Drive changes with minimal people impact across shifts.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal customers for results.
• Promote a culture of accountability and performance.
