Pratt & Whitney AutoAir at Plant 5 in Holt, MI seeks a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to support automated manufacturing lines, including coating, robotics, conveyors, and ovens. The role emphasizes preventative maintenance, problem solving, and collaboration with a team of skilled technicians.

Candidates should be willing to undergo extensive training, demonstrate basic computer skills, and be able to work First, Second, Third or AWW shifts onsite.

Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Experience in a Production Manufacturing Environment
  • Experience with Equipment Maintenance
  • Experience as an Aerospace Mechanic or Completed A&P Certification
  • Experience with automotive body work, painting, machining, metal fabrication, welding, composites, automation, electrical, mechanical troubleshooting, and any hands-on trades.

What You Will Do
  • Pratt & Whitney AutoAir is the Raytheon Technologies composite manufacturing center of excellence for aerospace Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Maintenance, Repair Operations (MRO) products, and is a sourced supplier on several new engine programs with noteworthy growth in the coming years.
  • This position will serve as a highly skilled Maintenance Technician that will support the production manufacturing line in Plant 5.
  • This line is comprised of many highly automated operations including a state-of-the-art coating line.
  • Candidates should be willing to be trained on the maintenance of a wide range of robotics, conveyors, ovens, and spraying systems.
  • There will be extensive up front training and continued learning trainings for the employee in this role.
  • Performing Preventative Maintenance on Manufacturing Equipment
  • Completing Corrective Work Order for repairs needed on Equipment and in the shop
  • Manage and prioritize work assignments
  • Work with other skilled Maintenance Technicians to complete assigned tasks
