Maintenance Custodian Associate – Sam's Club
Base Pay Range
$16.00/hr - $23.00/hr
Position Summary
As a Maintenance Custodian Associate at Sam’s Club, you are responsible for ensuring members see a well‑kept parking lot, clean restrooms, and clean floors. This role requires constant movement on your feet in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude toward customers.
Responsibilities
- Keep the parking lot, restrooms, floors, and windows clean and well‑maintained using approved chemicals and equipment.
- Respond to spills, operate floor scrubbers, and dispose of trash in accordance with the Company Environmental Sustainability Program.
- Perform safety sweeps and properly spot forklifts according to company procedures.
- Maintain clear communication with management and report unsafe or defective conditions.
- Work entire shifts on your feet, adapting quickly to changing work scenarios.
- Ensure members and associates receive a positive first and last impression of cleanliness and safety.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in physically demanding environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in custodial or maintenance work.
- Knowledge of hazardous materials handling procedures.

Additional Compensation
Premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply.
