Job description

Overview

Maintenance Custodian Associate at Sam's Club. The role focuses on keeping the facility clean and safe to ensure a positive member experience.

Base pay range

$16.00/hr - $23.00/hr

What you’ll do

Maintains safety of the facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps, proper forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, following Company steel standard guidelines, and reporting unsafe situations to Management.

Cleans all areas of the facility (floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) using company procedures, guidelines, methods, and approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment.

Ensures a safe and clean environment for Members and Associates by performing maintenance as necessary, responding to spills, operating floor scrubbers, and disposing of cardboard, plastic, and trash in accordance with the Company Environmental Sustainability Program.

Maintains appropriate levels of Company-approved chemicals and supplies, ensuring chemical supplies are rotated and stored properly, and places orders to replenish supplies when low.

The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances (schedule, facility, season, or work performed). Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
