Job description

Overview

Maintenance Associate at Sam’s Club. You are responsible for keeping the facility safe and clean to create a positive first and last impression for members.

Base pay range

$16.00/hr - $23.00/hr

What you’ll do

Maintain safety and cleanliness of the facility by following safety standards, procedures, and guidelines. This includes safety sweeps, proper forklift spotting, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, and correcting or reporting unsafe situations to management.

Clean all areas of the facility (floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) in accordance with company procedures, guidelines, and methods using approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment.

Ensure a safe and clean environment for Members and Associates by performing maintenance as necessary, responding to spills, operating floor scrubbers, and disposing of cardboard, plastic, and trash per the Company Environmental Sustainability Program.

Maintain appropriate levels of company-approved chemicals and supplies, rotate and store chemicals properly, and place orders to replenish supplies when low.

Support a positive member experience by maintaining a clean, safe facility and leaving a great first and last impression.

The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances (schedule, facility, season, or work performed).
