Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana - Sellersburg campus is seeking a dependable custodian to perform light maintenance and cleaning across classrooms, offices, and common areas. Responsibilities include floor care, restroom sanitation, snow removal, and responding to work orders as directed by the Director of Facilities.

• Cleans, waxes, and maintains floors throughout assigned areas.
• Maintains cleanliness of restrooms.
• Maintains cleanliness of parking lots, sidewalks, and grounds using available equipment.
• Performs snow removal when required.
• Provides general service in response to select work requests.
• Performs other duties as assigned consistent with commonly accepted practices.
• Assists in event set-up and tear-down when necessary.

Job description

Provides light maintenance and custodian services for the Sellersburg campus. Duties include, but are not limited to, floor care, cleaning restrooms, classrooms and offices, and snow removal. Provides general service in response to work orders requests. Reports to the Director of Facilities. Salary Range: $20 per hour
