You will also perform routine maintenance work on buildings, facilities, and equipment. In this role, you must be willing and able to perform duties associated with commercial cleaning, painting, spackling, minor patching, and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including operating industrial cleaning equipment such as high-speed buffers, burnishers, shampooers, and vacuum cleaners. You will be responsible for cleaning restrooms, classrooms, residence halls, offices, and similar facilities, as well as moving heavy items such as tables, furniture, cleaning equipment, supplies, and other related materials. This position requires the ability to bend, stoop, lift, and move items weighing up to approximately 50 pounds; stand and walk continuously throughout your shift; and climb and work from ladders. Typical work hours may be 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.Additional Information:This is a full-time (100 % FTE), permanent position.
