Job summary

CSL is seeking a Custodian/Facilities Attendant to maintain a clean, orderly collection center and support daily operations. Responsibilities include cleaning break rooms, offices, and public areas, and performing minor maintenance tasks.

The role requires attention to safety, the ability to lift up to 40 pounds, and flexibility for overtime. High school diploma or equivalent is required, and bilingual ability may be preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum three months experience as a custodian or equivalent.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Occasional overtime and extended hours may be required.
• Bilingual skills may be required.

Responsibilities

• Clean break room, waiting area, tables, chairs, cabinets, and appliances.
• Vacuum carpets, dust furniture, and remove trash.
• Clean windows and doors daily.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks (bulbs, tiles, painting, plumbing, carpentry).
• Monitor grounds and parking lots; pick up litter.
• Assist in recycling and repackaging of shipping materials.
• Receive supplies and move to storage and quarantine areas.
• Follow HSE/OSHA policies and promote safety.
• Maintain confidentiality of center information.
• May be cross-trained in other areas.
