Job summary

Pine Lake Nursery & Landscape, Inc. in Lutz, FL is seeking a Maintenance Crew Member to join our field team.

This full-time, on-site position involves mowing, edging, pruning, planting, and general grounds maintenance as part of our landscape installation and maintenance services. The ideal candidate is physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, may be required to work overtime, and should have a clean MVR and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Clean MVR and valid driver’s license, is a plus
• Overtime may be required as workload dictates
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a physical jobsite environment

Responsibilities

• Cut turf with power mowers, trim and edge with gas edger/trimmer, and operate a gas blower
• Trim and edge around walks, flower beds, and walls using clippers and edging tools
• Prune shrubs and trees to shape or remove damaged leaves, branches, or twigs
• Plant flowers, trees and shrubs using gardening tools
• Apply fertilizer to ground to enhance growth
• Load trucks and equipment daily
• Clean trucks and equipment daily
• Support Foreman or Maintenance Manager as needed

Pine Lake Nursery & Landscape, Inc is a full service landscape installation firm providing design, installation and maintenance services for commercial and governmental projects in the Tampa Bay Area. We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Crew Members to grow with our expanding company.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Cut turf using various sized power mowers, trimming and edging using a gas powered edger/trimmer, and operating a gas powered blower
• Trim and edge around walks, flower beds, and walls, using clippers, weed cutters, and edging tools.
• Prune shrubs and trees to shape and improve growth or remove damaged leaves, branches, or twigs, using shears, pruning shears or chain saw
• Plant flowers, trees and shrubs using gardening tools
• Apply fertilizer to ground to enhance growth
• Load trucks and equipment daily
• Clean trucks and equipment daily
• Other responsibilities as may be assigned by Foreman or Maintenance Manager from time to time

Requirements:

• Clean MVR and valid driver’s license, is a plus

• Must be physically able to work in a jobsite environment to include lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, squatting, crouching and reaching
