Job summary

Sunrise Landscape in Bradenton, FL seeks a Landscape Crew Leader-Driver to guide maintenance crews and perform hands-on landscape tasks, operating our trucks with 17–21 ft trailers to service commercial and residential properties.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in landscaping, can work in the Florida heat, and holds a valid driver's license with a clean record. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; background and drug tests required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in landscaping or lawn maintenance.
• Experience driving a company truck with 17–21 ft trailer and clean driving history.
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Able to perform physically demanding tasks in the Florida heat.
• Dependable and able to work well on a team.
• Pass a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Perform landscaping and lawn maintenance tasks: mowing, edging, trimming.
• Use blowing equipment to clear debris and clean client properties.
• Prune shrubs and small trees; remove damaged or dead branches.
• Weed by hand or with small tools.
• Ensure high quality and excellent customer service in all interactions.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations at all times.

Your Opportunity

As a Crew Leader within our Maintenance Department, your role would be to serve our clients in the field by providing landscape maintenance support for commercial, private, and public properties. You will be required to safely operate our landscaping equipment to complete your daily responsibilities.

The ideal candidate is someone who has at least 2 years or previous landscape experience and can work in the Florida heat.

Responsibilities

• Perform various landscaping and lawn maintenance tasks including mowing/cutting, trimming, and edging all grass/turf on the assigned property.
• Use blowing equipment to clear debris and leave the client property in better shape than before you arrived!
• Prune shrubs and low trees; removed damage or dead branches.
• Perform weeding by hand or small tools.
• Ensure all tasks are completed with the highest quality standards and deliver excellent customer service in all interactions.
• Always adhere to safety protocols and regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in landscaping or lawn maintenance.
• Experience driving company truck with 17-21ft trailer with clean driving history.
• To be at least 18 years old and be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• To perform physically demanding tasks in the Florida heat.
• To be dependable and able to work well on a team.

• Bilingual: English & Spanish preferred
• Possess a valid driver’s license (of at least 3 years) and a clean driving record.
• Be able to pass a drug test.
