Responsibilities include routine upkeep, safety compliance, and urgent repairs with attention to guest comfort. Prior maintenance experience and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required; a high school diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of maintenance experience required.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. infrequently.
• Must be able to legally work in the USA.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the hotel property exterior and interior, including landscaping and pool areas.
• Operate maintenance equipment and two-way radios.
• Perform carpentry, painting, and general repairs to maintain facilities.
• Complete maintenance requests promptly and maintain logs for pool/spa chemicals and other equipment.
• Ensure safety by following PPE and hazard control procedures.
• Support Suite Care Program to maintain guest suites.
• Check exterior lighting and irrigation regularly.
• Follow compliance standards for safe operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Description

Summary:

The Maintenance Crew II position involves keeping the systems and components used in the property in good condition. This includes general building operations like HVAC, electrical, and plumbing, as well as needs specific to hotels and their customers.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining the physical structure and grounds of the hotel property in like-new condition, including landscaping, walkways, pool area, and sports courts.
• Must be able to use two-way radios, telephones, and various types of maintenance equipment.
• Perform interior and exterior property maintenance, such as carpentry repair, painting, and all other functions necessary to maintain the facility and property.
• Complete maintenance requests promptly. These may include changing out light bulbs, vinyl repairs, touch-up paint, minor furniture repairs, tub caulking, and tile repairs. Also, maintenance for equipment such as ice machines, refrigerators, kitchen and laundry equipment, HVAC, guest rooms, meeting rooms, public area spaces, swimming pool, and spa, etc.
• Have working ability with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry as needed.
• Perform Suite Care Program activities to maintain suites for guest satisfaction.
• Test pool and spa chemicals routinely and maintain logs.
• Check exterior lighting and irrigation periodically.
• Follow all compliance standards and regulations to ensure safe and efficient hotel operations.
• Practice safety throughout the work shift by removing/correcting and identifying hazards.
• Must be able to follow safety practices, such as wearing personal protective equipment, reading chemical warning labels, and other safe work practices.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Experience / Qualifications

Education and Certification(s)/License(s)

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
