Job summary

Vail Resorts in the United States is hiring for winter 2026/27 for the Maintenance Crew in base area operations. This entry level role offers a chance to learn a range of maintenance skills and contribute to an exceptional guest arrival experience.

Starting wage is $20.00/hr to $22.92/hr with full-time and part-time hours. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work outdoors in seasonal conditions, and be available on weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Follow procedures and guidelines to stay safe and keep your team safe.
• Comfortable working both inside and outside in seasonal environments.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand and perform physical work for extended periods.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist in a variety of maintenance tasks such as painting, landscaping, and base area upkeep.
• Provide support to other resort operations as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Maintenance Crew team performs critical operations in the base area to deliver an incredible arrival experience. This entry level position isa great opportunityto learn new skills and gain knowledge in many aspects of maintenance and resort operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in a variety of maintenance work which can include but not limited to painting, landscaping, clearing of base area of weather elements and other general maintenance tasks
• Provide additional support to other resort operations
• Other duties as assigned

The expected pay range is $20.00/hr - $22.92/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
