The Maintenance Coordinator is part of the plant management team and is responsible for administering and coordinating the repair and maintenance of Amrize South Chicago plant property and equipment. One of the primary objectives of the maintenance coordinator is to improve the value of all Company assets at the Amrize South Chicago plant through increased reliability and lower operating costs while allowing the operation of the equipment to meet production requirements within budget guidelines. The maintenance coordinator assists in the establishment of plant policies and procedures concerning the maintenance department and is responsible for ensuring that maintenance staff are knowledgeable of plant policies and procedures and follow them accordingly. The incumbent has a responsibility to develop effective employee relations, competent subordinates, and collaborative relations amongst the maintenance employees and with other departments.
Required Education: Bachelor's/Undergraduate Degree or equivalent experience of 7 plus years in similar roles Field of Study Preferred: Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering Required Work Experience: 4-7 years of prior supervisory skills
