Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained living environment for residents. You will handle repairs, preventative maintenance, apartment turnovers, and safety documentation with a focus on quality and resident well-being.

You will work under the Maintenance Director, collaborating with staff and contractors to maintain interiors, exteriors, and grounds, while promoting safety, efficiency, and high service standards in a supportive

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of related experience preferred.
• Maintenance training program may be considered in lieu of experience.
• Applicable state licenses, as required.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Working knowledge of carpentry, drywall, painting, light plumbing, and preventative maintenance.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic records platforms.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all areas inside the building to high cleanliness standards.
• Support grounds maintenance and collaborate with contractors.
• Assist with preventative maintenance program documentation.
• Prepare and refurbish apartments for resident move-ins.
• Maintain fire safety and emergency records; respond to incidents.
• Schedule preventative maintenance and document quality assurance records.
• Use building management software to track tasks and work orders.
• Perform repairs on janitorial equipment and facilities.
• Communicate effectively with staff and residents' families.
