Job summary

Cemex US is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to oversee maintenance activities, planning, and execution across a district/region. The role emphasizes reliability, safety, and continuous improvement in a heavy industrial setting.

The candidate will coordinate daily work, verify materials and tools, and lead a team to meet performance goals while maintaining equipment availability and compliance with policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of progressive maintenance experience in large industrial manufacturing
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required
• 5 years of experience in heavy industrial/manufacturing environment
• CMRP or CRE status preferred

Responsibilities

• Receive the daily work program from the Programmer and verify materials/tools
• Assign team members to execute specified work
• Monitor work quality, quantity and safety per policies
• Support maintenance planner in estimation of parts and resources
• Execute maintenance works per weekly/daily program
• Ensure equipment availability and reliable operation
• Promote continuous improvement and safe practices
• Record finished work orders and feedback for reporting
