Bickford Senior Living in Omaha, NE is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to keep the branch clean and in good working order, ensuring a safe, comfortable home for residents. You will manage maintenance requests, schedule preventive tasks, and drive residents to appointments as needed.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • CPR and First Aid certifications are required or willingness to obtain.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Written and verbal communication skills required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the Branch to a standard of excellence reflecting quality of care.
  • Prioritize and complete maintenance tasks timely.
  • Address maintenance issues promptly with the Director for outside services.
  • Ensure apartments are move-in-ready within 3 days after move-out.
  • Assist in arranging service contracts and bids as assigned.
  • Complete Maintenance Request forms and schedule Preventive Maintenance.

We are committed to helping our team members achieve their career goals.Responsibilities:Maintain the Branch to a standard of excellence that reflects the quality of care we provide our residents.Prioritize and complete all maintenance tasks timely.Address maintenance issues promptly, notifying the Director when outside services are needed.Ensure all apartments are move-in-ready within 3 days after move-out.Assist in arranging service contracts and bids as assigned.Promptly complete items from Maintenance Request forms.Manage the Preventive Maintenance Work Schedule to ensure items are completed timely.Order supplies/chemicals as assigned.Identify emergency situations and respond appropriately using the applicable Bickford procedure.Ensure equipment remains in working order and is used safely.Complete Resident Monitoring System Testing Procedure Checklist as scheduled.Complete the Exit Door Inspection Checklist as scheduled.Perform emergency tests according to the Preventive Maintenance Work Schedule.Ensure chemicals utilized are securely stored, labeled, and used per directions, and appropriate PPE is worn.Ensure OSHA compliance while working in the Branch.Complete tasks necessary to comply with all applicable state and federal regulatory agencies.Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED.Willing to take additional training or education, which specific states may require.CPR and First Aid certifications are required or willingness to obtain.Ability to handle multiple priorities.Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication.Competent in organizational and time management skills.Demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
