Job summary

US Foods in Montgomery, AL is seeking a Warehouse Maintenance Technician to coordinate maintenance of warehouse equipment and facility systems. You will schedule repairs, manage work orders, and ensure safety standards are met.

You will monitor parts inventory, work with internal teams and vendors, and support continuous improvement to extend equipment life. This is a full-time role with strong safety culture and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the central coordinator for all warehouse maintenance activities, including equipment repairs, preventive maintenance, and facility improvements.
• Create, manage, and update maintenance work orders, logs, and documentation to ensure accuracy and accountability.
• Prioritize maintenance needs based on operational impact, safety requirements, and resource availability.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors/contractors to schedule repairs, inspections, and service activities.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and spare parts.
• Ensure all maintenance work follows OSHA, company safety policies, and regulatory standards.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues, recommending corrective actions, and assisting with equipment lifecycle planning.
• Communicate maintenance updates, equipment downtime, and completion timelines to warehouse leadership and relevant stakeholders.
