Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator in Cape Girardeau, MO to organize and oversee maintenance tasks, coordinate MRO inventory, and ensure equipment reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance, MRO, parts, inventory, or storeroom operations in manufacturing.
• Experience with CMMS (preferably eMaint) or similar platform.
• Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance, work orders, and spare parts management.
• Experience with inventory control, cycle counting, purchasing, and vendor coordination.
• Ability to analyze maintenance metrics such as MTBF, MTTR, and MTBF data.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks, work orders, and inspections.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance programs to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
• Manage MRO storeroom operations including parts ordering, receiving, and inventory control.
• Maintain CMMS records and generate maintenance reports.
• Analyze maintenance performance data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with technicians, supervisors, and operations to complete work safely and efficiently.
• Support budgeting and cost tracking for maintenance activities.

We are seeking a Maintenance MRO Coordinator to support maintenance operations, equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, and MRO inventory management at our Cape Girardeau facility.

Job Details

Schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks, work requests, work orders, inspections, and equipment repairs in coordination with maintenance and operations.

• Coordinate preventive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and maintain compliance with operational standards.
• Manage MRO storeroom operations including parts ordering, receiving, inventory control, kitting, repair tracking, and reporting.
• Develop and maintain a parts kitting program to ensure required materials are available for scheduled maintenance work orders.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, inventory usage, and equipment service histories within the CMMS.
• Utilize CMMS data to track maintenance performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Analyze mean time to failure, mean time between failure, and mean time to repair for critical equipment and systems.
• Maintain critical spare parts and MRO inventory to support maintenance and production requirements.
• Establish and monitor reorder points and reorder quantities to maintain appropriate inventory levels.
• Perform cycle counting and generate inventory and maintenance reports through the CMMS.
• Identify obsolete and dead stock and recommend inventory reduction opportunities.
• Obtain quotes and submit purchase requisitions for MRO and non MRO parts.
• Coordinate vendors, service agreements, outside repairs, and external maintenance support as needed.
• Support maintenance budget tracking, cost control, and expenditure reporting.
• Analyze maintenance performance data to help evaluate labor utilization and job effectiveness.
• Partner with maintenance technicians, supervisors, operations, and other departments to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on maintenance reliability, inventory management, and operational performance.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Experience supporting maintenance, MRO, parts, inventory, or storeroom operations within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience working with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), preferably eMaint or a similar platform.
• Strong understanding of preventive maintenance, work orders, equipment maintenance, and spare parts management.
• Experience with inventory control, cycle counting, parts ordering, purchasing, and vendor coordination.
• Ability to analyze maintenance and reliability metrics including MTBF, MTTR, and equipment failure data.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple maintenance requests and work orders.
• Strong computer skills and experience working with maintenance reporting and inventory data.
• Ability to communicate effectively with maintenance technicians, operations, vendors, and facility leadership.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate maintenance and inventory records.
• Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment.
