Job summary

Tarkett is seeking a Maintenance Controls Technician for our Middlefield, Ohio Manufacturing Plant. You will troubleshoot control systems and support mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on the shop floor.

The role requires hands-on problem solving, safety-minded practices, and collaboration with maintenance personnel and apprentices to improve processes and training. Strong PLC and CAD skills are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree in a related field preferred or equivalent experience and training.
  • 3-5 years of plant or related field experience.
  • Basic understanding of mechanics, hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • Ability to read ladder logic and schematics for troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot controls issues on shop floor using computers and supplier software.
  • Assist on issues related to hydraulics, pneumatics, programming, and electrical.
  • Maintain and update drawings when changes are made to equipment or programming.
  • Assist in developing maintenance team members.

## Maintenance Controls TechnicianAnsök: United States, Middlefield (OH): Full time: Registrerades i går: R2026090095**Tarkett** has a great opportunity for a Maintenance Controls Technician in our Middlefield, Ohio Manufacturing Plant.Tarkett is seeking an experienced and strategic Maintenance Controls Technician to join our successful team in Middlefield, Ohio. In this position you will be seen as a key technical resource for supporting our rubber flooring operations by troubleshooting with the team on mechanical, electrical, controls, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. This position requires a hands on approach that helps with problem solving, training and teaching Maintenance personnel and apprentices.**Responsibilities:*** Assists on any issue that could arise on the shop floor including breakdowns, new process development, continuous improvement, tooling changes, etc. Includes issues related to hydraulics, pneumatics, programming, electrical, etc* Troubleshoot controls issues utilizing computers and supplier software* Identify and implement projects to will improve processes, training, operations, etc* Maintain and update drawings when changes are made to equipment or programming* Assist in the development of our maintenance team members* Must be responsible for observing all safety rules and regulations.
