Job summary

Tarkett is seeking a Molding & Finishing Associate for the Afternoon shift at our Middlefield, OH site. You will operate production equipment within the Molding & Finishing department, follow safety standards, and support continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualified candidates will troubleshoot, load/unload presses, inspect materials for defects, complete tickets, and contribute to a safe, efficient production line with cross-training opportunities and shift premium

Qualifications

• Ability to troubleshoot and complete 5s audit.
• Ability to load/unload rubber press.
• Ability to perform work within Molding/Finishing department based on business needs.
• Ability to inspect materials for defects, inconsistencies.
• Ability to transport materials to next station in the manufacturing process (using tow motor if required).
• Ability to complete production tickets, downtime sheets.
• Ability to maintain/continue green initiative.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with frequent distractions.

In this position you will have the opportunity to operate various production equipment and perform multiple functions within the Molding & Finishing department for Tarkett Middlefield. There are 4 operator levels that allow for additional pay increases based on cross training and our top rate is currently $28.25 + shift premium.
