Take2 Consulting, LLC is seeking a Mid-Level Maintenance Controller Service Technician to support the Test Operations Center (TOC) team in Seattle, Washington. The role provides technical assistance, logistics coordination, research, and operational support for a wide range of flight test activities and aircraft maintenance operations.

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of education and/or professional experience in aircraft maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for aircraft maintenance, repairs, preventive maintenance, and operational activities to promote safe and efficient aircraft operations.
  • Apply technical knowledge to research, develop, test, and evaluate maintenance operations, support programs, aircraft modifications, repairs, and technical documentation.
  • Identify and communicate aircraft design, maintenance, and operational issues to Engineering and other appropriate stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain technical correspondence supporting the safe operation and continued maintenance of aircraft and equipment.
  • Participate in accident investigations and provide technical or operational support as required.
  • Research and investigate logistics, test status, operational issues, weather conditions, and IT-related concerns to drive timely resolution.
  • Prepare accurate maintenance estimates for flight test and aircraft maintenance activities, including work order descriptions, required parts, special tools, and ground support equipment.
  • Maintain TOC databases, create service request task items, monitor test aircraft in flight, identify issues requiring management escalation, and maintain operational status information.
  • Develop and update PowerPoint presentations, analyze operational data, and present findings and recommendations during management status meetings.
  • Provide clear, concise, and actionable recommendations to management in a dynamic operational environment.
  • Support logistics coordination and remote aircraft operations as needed.
  • Maintain effective communication with internal teams, customers, and external stakeholders throughout maintenance and flight test activities.

Job description

Seeking a Mid-Level Maintenance Controller Service Technician to support a Test Operations Center (TOC) team in Seattle, Washington. The position provides technical assistance, logistics coordination, research, and operational support for a wide range of flight test activities and aircraft maintenance operations.

The Maintenance Controller will work closely with test operations crews, aircraft maintenance teams, flight operations, engineering, logistics, and other support organizations. The role requires strong communication skills, proactive problem-solving, customer-focused collaboration, and the ability to build trusted relationships in a fast-paced operational environment.

Position Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for aircraft maintenance, repairs, preventive maintenance, and operational activities to promote safe and efficient aircraft operations.
  • Apply technical knowledge to research, develop, test, and evaluate maintenance operations, support programs, aircraft modifications, repairs, and technical documentation.

Basic Qualifications
  • 1+ year of education and/or professional experience in aircraft maintenance.
  • 1+ year of flight line experience.
  • Experience developing and maintaining strong customer or external stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience working directly with customers in face-to-face environments.
  • Ability to interpret operational data and present analysis, findings, and recommendations to management.
  • Experience creating, editing, and presenting PowerPoint presentations containing operational data and analysis.
  • Ability and willingness to work variable shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ year of flight test experience.
  • Experience working with DWR systems.
  • Experience with Engineering Furnished and Red Label parts.
  • Experience coordinating and planning logistics support for remote aircraft operations.
  • Current or previous Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License.
  • Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance procedures, flight test operations, logistics, and technical support processes.
