Job summary

JCMLiving is seeking a Porter / Maintenance Tech for our Lancaster property to maintain cleanliness and functionality of common areas, assist with minor repairs, and ensure residents experience a welcoming, well-kept environment.

You will perform daily cleaning, manage waste disposal and recycling, assist with snow removal, respond promptly to resident requests, and conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs for the property management team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a maintenance or custodial role preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects as needed.
• Customer service experience in a residential or hospitality setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of common areas, including lobbies, hallways, and recreational facilities.
• Snow removal when needed
• Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts to ensure a clean and environmentally friendly property.
• Assist with minor repairs and maintenance tasks as directed by the property management team.
• Respond promptly to resident requests and concerns, providing excellent customer service.
• Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs and report them to management.
