Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Revere, MA is seeking a dedicated maintenance/janitorial teammate to help keep our club clean, safe, and welcoming for every member. You’ll handle cleaning tasks, cart management, and general upkeep to support a positive shopping experience.

This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and following safety standards; regular attendance is essential, and experience in retail or maintenance is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.
• Prior maintenance or janitorial experience preferred, but not required.
• May be less than 18 years of age to perform parking lot cart functions. Must be over 18 to operate equipment and enter age restricted areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide members with prompt and courteous service and maintain high standards of safety and sanitation.
• Clean and maintain all club areas including the sales floor, offices, restrooms and outdoor grounds and parking lot.
• Gathers and returns carts and flatbeds from the parking lot to the club entrance.
• Removes trash or debris from the parking lot, cart corrals, and exterior of the club.
• Ensures that carts are well-stocked at the club entrance.
• Maintains all club policies and procedures; performs other duties as assigned.
