Job summary

Starbucks is seeking a maintenance buyer to manage plant system compliance, oversee contractors, and handle procurement to keep plant operations safe and efficient. You will manage quotes, POs, CMMS updates, inventory, and service contracts for critical equipment.

Requirements include 5 years in data collection and analysis, a background in large-scale manufacturing, and experience with MRP/ERP, MS Office, and vendor coordination.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience with data collection, analysis and technical report writing.
• 5 years’ experience in a large-scale manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Experience coordinating vendor service visits.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to input and report inventory and system data through manual or automated systems.
• Knowledge of MRP and ERP packages.
• Strong organizational skills to prioritize projects.
• Electrical and mechanical knowledge base.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance of plant systems and inspections (e.g., fire system testing, hoist inspections).
• Oversee contractors and ensure OSHA logs, liability insurance and daily permit-to-work compliance.
• Handle procurement: quotes, POs, inventory, and service contracts.
• Maintain CMMS and coordinate with parts buyers for timely parts stocking.
• Renew annual service contracts for critical equipment (air compressors, X-ray, packaging, HVAC).
