Job summary

Advenco Forests in the Gifford District is hiring for 2026 seasonal maintenance positions. You will join the maintenance team to support lodging, retail spaces, restaurants, and housing across campgrounds.

Responsibilities include processing work orders, performing repairs, and following OSHA safety guidelines. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of related experience.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate basic skill in the use of tools, materials and equipment common to maintenance and repair.
• Take initiative to learn and grow in maintenance operations.
• Follow oral and written instructions accurately.
• Able to work on ladders, scaffolding, elevated spaces and comply with OSHA safety requirements.
• Education: High school Diploma or equivalent technical certification/degree preferred.
• Experience: 1 year of general maintenance and/or construction.

Responsibilities

• Receive and complete work orders in a timely manner as required by Maintenance policies.
• Perform assigned maintenance and mechanical duties for buildings and facilities.
• Carry out hands-on repairs across maintenance disciplines.

Title: Maintenance

Reports to: General Manager

Department: Maintenance

Summary : Responsible for assisting the Maintenance team in performing a variety of basic skills involved in the upkeep of buildings and grounds, including lodging, retail stores, restaurants and housing.

• Receive and complete work orders, in a timely and efficient manner, as required by Maintenance Department policies and procedures. Must assist in the completion, tracking and reporting of work orders
• Perform assigned maintenance and mechanical duties for buildings and associated facilities, furnishings and equipment as requested
• Capable of “hands on repairs” in most maintenance disciplines

Requirements:

• Demonstrate basic skill in the use of tools, materials and equipment common to maintenance and repair
• Possess the initiative to learn and willingness to grow in maintenance operations
• Understand and effectively follow oral and written instructions
• Must be able to work on ladders, scaffolding, elevated platforms or crawl spaces, tunnels, ledges and roofs and understand the OSHA safety requirements as applicable
• Education: High school Diploma or equivalent technical certification/degree preferred.
• Experience: 1 year of general maintenance and/or construction
