Cascade Living Group is seeking a Maintenance Associate (Plant Operations) to help keep Cascades of the Sierra attractive, safe, and well-maintained for residents and staff.
The role includes preventive maintenance of interior and exterior buildings, repairs in occupied units, turnover tasks such as repainting and carpet shampoo, and collaboration with a team to meet ongoing maintenance goals. The shift is 11:00am - 7:30pm, with some weekend availability and on-call after hours.
As the Maintenance Associate (Plant Operations), at Cascades of the Sierra, you are responsible for ensuring that the community is attractive, well-maintained, and safe for our residents and staff.
Effective communicator who connects with staff, residents and their families
Experience in maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment and building
Knowledge of fire and safety regulations
Ability to work with outside vendors and monitor their work
Experience in safe electrical and plumbing repair
Innovative thinker who brings new ideas to the table
Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills
Ownership attitude who is able to stay focused despite interruptions throughout the day
Make a significant contribution to the quality of life our residents by maintaining the highest possible quality and consistency
Demonstrate organizational skills around time management
Willing and able to adapt to changing demands of the maintenance department and fulfill any job that is required
Available and on call for emergencies.
