Job summary

Cascade Living Group is seeking a Life Enrichment Associate (Activities Assistant) to plan and deliver engaging programs for residents, driving responsibilities included. You will lead with compassion, communicate clearly with staff and families, and bring fresh ideas to daily enrichment activities.

The role is part-time with Saturday through Monday shifts and weekend availability required. Competitive wages and a supportive team environment are offered.

• Must possess current first aid certification and a current food handler’s or serve safe certification.

Responsibilities

• Must have experience in planning, organizing and executing a varied schedule of life enrichment opportunities for all levels of seniors.
• Valid Driver’s license as this role will require driving residents.
• Effective communicator who connects with staff, residents and their families.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to facilitate small-group presentations.
• Ownership attitude who is able to stay focused despite interruptions throughout the day.
• Innovative thinker who brings new ideas to the table.

Job description

As the Life Enrichment Associate (Activities Assistant) with Cascades of the Sierra, you play a big part in making our resident’s lives more meaningful by assisting in the various activities. You’ll be depended upon to take the lead in encouraging resident participation and over time come to understand the individual needs of each resident.
