Job summary

Emerald Valley, part of Cascade Living Group, is seeking a Maintenance Director (Plant Operations Director) to oversee preventive maintenance of interior and exterior buildings and equipment, ensuring resident safety and a well‑kept community.

You will coordinate repairs in occupied apartments, manage time and staff, stay on call for emergencies, and collaborate with vendors while upholding Cascade Living's mission and values.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment and building.
• Knowledge of fire and safety regulations.
• Ability to work with outside vendors and monitor their work.
• Experience in grounds maintenance, electrical and plumbing repair.
• Compassionate individuals who will represent our community in a positive and professional manner.
• Innovative thinker who brings new ideas to the table.
• Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Ownership attitude who is able to stay focused despite interruptions throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate organizational skills around time management.
• Willing and able to adapt to changing demands of the maintenance department and fulfill any job that is required.
• Available and on call for emergencies day and night.

As the Maintenance Director(Plant Operations Director) at Emerald Valley you are responsible for everything maintenance and play a critical role when it comes to ensuring that the community is attractive, well-maintained and that our residents are safe, secure and well taken care of.
