Job summary

HD Supply Canada, Inc seeks a Maintenance Associate for a 5am shift, based in City of Industry, CA. Responsible for overseeing and performing maintenance tasks in a distribution center, including painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and equipment repairs.

Focus on safety, reporting, and coordination with vendors as needed. Position requires HS Diploma or GED with 2–5 years’ experience in building maintenance.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred and specialized skills training may be required.
• 2–5 years of experience in maintenance or related area.
• Experience with painting, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC maintenance.
• Knowledge of mechanical building construction of commercial properties.

Responsibilities

• Oversees, maintains, and performs non-skilled repairs on equipment and structures within a distribution center.
• Completes basic building maintenance tasks or coordinates with vendors for more complex tasks.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment for distribution associates.
• Performs limited preventative maintenance inspections on warehouse equipment/assets and buildings.
