## General Maintenance Associate - LakelandApply: Lakeland-FL-US: Full time: Posted Today: R26005174**Preferred Qualifications*** 1+ years of experience performing general building maintenance functions.* Experience with painting, general plumbing, electrical, and HVAC maintenance.* Knowledge of mechanical building construction of commercial properties.**Job Summary**Oversees, maintains, and performs non-skilled repairs on equipment and other structures within a distribution center.**Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities*** Completes basic building maintenance tasks or works with vendors on more complex tasks, including painting, plumbing, electrical lighting, HVAC, and material handling equipment repairs.* Maintains a safe and clean working environment for distribution associates.* Performs limited preventative maintenance inspections on assigned warehouse equipment assets and buildings.* Delivers equipment status reports on open and closed maintenance work orders.* Provides operational support for general warehouse duties.* Assists with parts inventory management and reports maintenance problems to management.* Operates material handling equipment, battery equipment, and other powered equipment.* Ensures hazardous materials are properly stored, managed, and maintained.**Nature and Scope*** Selects correct processes from clearly prescribed rules, past practices, or instruction.
