Job summary

ROMARK PENNSYLVANIA LLC is seeking a Maintenance Associate to support safe, efficient operation of our Berks County warehouse. You will perform preventive maintenance, basic repairs, inspections, and troubleshoot to minimize downtime.

The role involves teamwork with warehouse leadership, flexibility for overtime, and maintaining accurate maintenance records. Wage is $25–$30 per hour, with a Monday–Friday onsite schedule at our Bethel facility in PA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous maintenance experience in warehouse, distribution center, or similar environment preferred.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building-maintenance practices.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment.
• Ability to identify problems, troubleshoot basic equipment issues, and follow repair instructions.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on warehouse equipment, facility systems, and building components.
• Inspect equipment and work areas to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, or potential equipment failures.
• Troubleshoot and complete basic mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general facility repairs.
• Assist with maintaining conveyors, dock equipment, doors, lighting, racking, material-handling equipment, and other warehouse systems.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and equipment issues to reduce operational downtime.
• Escalate complex repairs or safety concerns to management or an approved outside service provider.
• Perform minor repairs and replace worn or damaged parts when qualified and authorized.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, preventive maintenance, parts used, and completed work orders.
• Assist with coordinating and monitoring contractors or vendors performing facility repairs.
• Maintain tools, parts, supplies, and maintenance work areas in a clean and organized condition.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures and all applicable company, OSHA, and facility safety requirements.
• Use required personal protective equipment and follow safe work practices at all times.
• Support housekeeping, sanitation, snow removal, and other facility-related activities as needed.
• Communicate equipment conditions, completed repairs, and outstanding maintenance needs to appropriate team members.
• Participate in safety meetings, training programs, and continuous-improvement initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
