Job summary

Romark Logistics, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Associate to support safe, efficient operation of the warehouse and its equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and basic repairs, and maintain clean, safe work areas.

Shifts are Monday–Friday 7am–3pm with a pay range of $25.00–$30.00 per hour, depending on skill level. You will collaborate with warehouse leadership and operations to minimize downtime and uphold safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous maintenance experience in warehouse/distribution/manufacturing environment preferred.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and building-maintenance practices.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment.
• Ability to identify problems, troubleshoot basic equipment issues, and follow repair instructions.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills and maintenance record-keeping.
• Forklift or aerial-lift certification preferred or the ability to become certified.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, or overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on warehouse equipment, facility systems, and building components.
• Inspect equipment and work areas to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, or potential equipment failures.
• Troubleshoot and complete basic mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general facility repairs.
• Assist with maintaining conveyors, dock equipment, doors, lighting, racking, and other warehouse systems.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests to reduce downtime.
• Escalate complex repairs or safety concerns to management or outside service providers.
• Perform minor repairs and replace worn parts when qualified.
• Maintain records of inspections, repairs, and parts used.
• Coordinate and monitor contractors performing facility repairs.
• Keep tools and work areas clean and organized.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures and safety requirements.
