PositionOverview

In this role, the Maintenance Associate is responsible forassistance withvarious maintenance related taskswithin out high speed / high volume cold heading manufacturing facility, as part of a hands-on training plan to grow into a highly skilled maintenance technician.

MainResponsibilities

• Assist with mechanical troubleshooting and repairs of cold heading, thread rolling, and other production and support equipment.
• Assist with fabrication of parts using mills, lathes, grinders, and other equipment.
• Assist with preventive maintenance tasks.
• Assist with building maintenance and repair tasks.
• Complete maintenance reports and other documentation
• Maintain inventory of in-house replacement parts for building,machines,and equipment.
• Assist with machinery installations and start-up activities.
• Communicate all problems and other work-related issues with supervisor.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures including safety and attendance requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED,preferred.
• 1-2yearsof maintenance mechanic experience in an industrial environment.

• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read and understand complex drawings and instructions.
• Ability toliftto 30 lbs.
