Job summary

Benzel-Busch Mercedes- Benz in Englewood, NJ seeks a Maintenance Associate to keep showrooms, offices and common areas clean and welcoming. You will perform sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, restocking supplies, and assist with entrance and walkway upkeep to uphold brand standards.

This full-time, non-exempt role requires dependability, attention to detail, and the ability to lift and move objects. Paid hourly at $15.92, with benefits including health and dental insurance, 401(k) and training

Qualifications

• Dependable and punctual with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, reaching and lifting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of dealership facilities, including showrooms, offices, customer areas, restrooms, breakrooms and other common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust and clean surfaces as needed.
• Empty trash receptacles and properly dispose of waste.
• Clean and restock restrooms and other designated areas.
• Assist with maintaining entrances, walkways and other areas for overall appearance.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when restocking is needed.
• Assist with additional facility and maintenance-related tasks as assigned.

JOB OVERVIEW

As a Benzel-Busch Mercedes- Benz Maintenance Associate, you will play an important role in helping us maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our employees and customers This position is responsible for supporting the day-to-day cleanliness and upkeep of our dealership facilities while helping ensure our workplace reflects the high standards associated with the Benzel-Busch Mercedes-Benz brand

What You’ll Do:

• Maintain the cleanliness of dealership facilities, including showrooms, offices, customer areas, restrooms, breakrooms, and other common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and clean surfaces as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean and professional environment
• Ability to perform physical tasks associated with the position, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting.
• Ability to work collaboratively and professionally with the maintenance team, employees, customers, and management.
• Previous janitorial, housekeeping, custodial, or facility maintenance experience is a plus but not required.
