Physical and Environmental Requirements:
Lifting and Carrying:Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing between 30-50 lbs. repeatedly throughout a shift.
Overhead Lifting:Occasionally lifting items above shoulder level.
Pulling and Pushing:Moving heavy objects using tools like pallet jacks, dollies, or carts.
General Physical Abilities
Standing and Walking:Prolonged periods of standing and walking, often on concrete floors. Shifts may last 8-12 hours.
Bending and Stooping: Regular bending, squatting, kneeling, or twisting to pick up or organize items.
Reaching and Stretching: Ability to reach above or below waist level to retrieve or store goods.
Climbing: Occasionally climbing ladders or stairs to access products stored at higher levels.
Endurance and Stamina
Performing physically demanding tasks in varying conditions (e.g., cold storage, hot warehouse spaces).
Repeating motions like lifting, bending, or carrying without fatigue for an entire shift.
Coordination and Dexterity
Good hand-eye coordination for picking, packing, or sorting items.
Manual dexterity for operating tools or machinery (e.g., forklifts, scanners).
Additional Requirements
Vision:Ability to see clearly for reading labels, identifying items, and operating machinery safely.
Hearing: Ability to hear alarms, instructions, or warning signals in a noisy environment.
