Overview

Maintenance Associate

Location: Quincy, IL Pay Range: $17.77 - $26.66 per hour | Based on Relevant ExperienceSchedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

About the Role:Quincy Medical Group (QMG) is looking for a dedicated Maintenance Associate to ensure the upkeep of building structures, mechanical systems, furnishings, and grounds. This role involves performing repairs, installations, and preventative maintenance while responding to facility needs and emergencies. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in trades such as plumbing, electrical, painting, and flooring. A valid driver's license is required. This position plays a key role in maintaining a safe and functional environment for staff and visitors.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair building structures, mechanical systems, furnishings, and fixtures.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and facility infrastructure.
  • Respond to maintenance emergencies and facility repair requests as needed.
  • Ensure cleanliness and safety by addressing spills, accidents, and outdoor maintenance.
  • Update and maintain records related to maintenance activities and department operations.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or technical school certification with 4+ years of related experience, OR 6+ years of trades experience, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of building remodeling, mechanical equipment, plumbing, electrical, painting, flooring, furniture construction, and wall-covering.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs., stand, walk, climb, balance, and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Comfortable working in various conditions, including outdoor weather and exposure to chemicals or biological materials.
