Job summary

Senior Resource Group is seeking a maintenance-focused professional to oversee daily property upkeep and the physical assets of a senior living community. You will work under the direction of the Maintenance Director to ensure smooth operations and readiness of apartments.

The role includes completing work orders, conducting make-readies, and participating in the preventative maintenance program. Weekend availability is required, with opportunities for advancement within the organization.

Qualifications

• Prior maintenance experience preferred.
• Able to perform minor electrical/plumbing tasks.
• Reliable and able to work weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day operations of the property.
• Complete work orders and make-ready of vacant units.
• Manage preventative maintenance program.
• Maintain inventory controls and cost-effective operations.
• Perform grounds work and landscaping tasks.
• Assist with special projects as directed by the Maintenance Director.
• Provide 24-hour emergency maintenance as scheduled.

Job Description

Maintain the day-to-day operations and assume responsibility for maintaining the physical asset of the property under the direction of the Maintenance Director. This is a great opportunity with room for advancement!

Essential Duties

• Responsible for the completion of all Work Order requests as assigned.
• Complete make-ready process of vacant apartments as directed by the Maintenance Director.
• Work within expense limits established.
• Maintain inventory controls for cost effective operations.
• Schedule and complete the "Preventative Maintenance Program".
• Responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance service as scheduled.
• Complete grounds work as directed by Maintenance Director, which may include picking up trash, sweeping curb and dumpster areas and maintaining landscaping beds and other areas.
• Special projects and other responsibilities as may be determined.

Qualifications

• Less than high school education; or up to one year related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays
