Job summary

Senior Resource Group is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to support the daily operations of our senior living communities. The role reports to the Maintenance Director and includes completing work orders, performing make-readies on vacant units, and executing the preventative maintenance program to keep properties in optimal condition.

The position emphasizes safe handling of tasks, inventory control, and occasional on-call emergency maintenance.

Qualifications

• Experience with basic property maintenance duties and procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret simple instructions and memos.

Responsibilities

• Complete all Work Order requests as assigned.
• Complete make-ready process of vacant apartments as directed by the Maintenance Director.
• Maintain inventory controls for cost effective operations.
• Schedule and complete the Preventative Maintenance Program.
• Provide 24-hour emergency maintenance service as scheduled.
• Perform grounds work and other duties as directed.

Full Time Position Available: Sunday - Thursday 8am-430pm

Maintain the day-to-day operations and assume responsibility for maintaining the physical asset of the property under the direction of the Maintenance Director. This is a great opportunity with room for advancement!

Essential Duties:

• Responsible for the completion of all Work Order requests as assigned.
• Complete make-ready process of vacant apartments as directed by the Maintenance Director.
• Work within expense limits established.
• Maintain inventory controls for cost effective operations.
• Schedule and complete the "Preventative Maintenance Program".
• Responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance service as scheduled.
• Complete grounds work as directed by Maintenance Director, which may include picking up trash, sweeping curb and dumpster areas and maintaining landscaping beds and other areas.
• Special projects and other responsibilities as may be determined.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Less than high school education; or up to one year related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• As required by local and state regulating bodies.
