Job summary

American Senior Communities seeks a Maintenance Assistant at Hillcrest Village in Indiana. This full-time role supports the Maintenance Supervisor to keep the community's physical plant and grounds safe, attractive, and welcoming for residents, staff, and visitors.

Essential responsibilities include assisting with drywall, plumbing, painting, and basic electrical/heating/cooling tasks. The CARE values guide daily actions, with competitive compensation and benefits discussed during on-site

The Maintenance Assistant assists the Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining the community’s physical plant and grounds ensuring a safe, attractive and enjoyable living environment for our residents, staff and the public.

Requirements

  • Prior maintenance experience preferred - drywall, plumbing, painting.
  • Knowledge in electrical, heating and cooling helpful.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
