About Woodlake Senior Living

Located in Sacramento, CA, Woodlake Senior Living is seeking a professional, customer-oriented Maintenance Assistant to provide general maintenance and repairs for our community.

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Assistant

1. Perform basic maintenance services as requested.
2. Maintain the overall appearance of the community, including trash removal, high-pressure surface cleaning, and landscaping tasks.
3. Community maintenance including painting, carpet cleaning, and room turns in preparation for new move-ins.
4. Ensure residents' privacy, respect, and dignity.
5. Follow standard precautions and infection control procedures.
6. Complete state-required training upon hire and annually.

Required Experience

1. Possess, at a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent.
2. A minimum of one (1) year prior maintenance experience is required.
3. Experience in a Senior Living Community is preferred.
4. Ability to safely operate a variety of tools and equipment consistent with the position.
5. Basic computer skills.
6. Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
7. Must pass a state criminal background check and provide LIC 508 Criminal Record Statement.
8. Provide LIC 503 Health Screening Report.

Job Details

1. Part-time position (20 hours per week).
2. Availability required for one day on the weekend.
