Job summary

TerraBella Senior Living is hiring a Maintenance Technician to join TerraBella Northridge. This role focuses on maintenance and housekeeping duties across community grounds and buildings, ensuring timely repairs and cost-efficient service requests.

The position requires one year of maintenance experience, on-call availability, and knowledge of plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems, and safety regulations. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• One-year maintenance experience.
• Ability to be on call if needed.
• Has a general understanding of systems including: plumbing, electrical, mechanical and code compliance.
• OSHA, fire prevention, life and safety regulations knowledge.
• Ability to respond to emergency calls outside of scheduled work hours.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills.

• Routine maintenance duties may include: fixing wall and/or floor coverings; repairing furniture and fixtures; performing basic plumbing work; performing minor electrical repairs; repairing appliances; painting and refurbishing projects, working with heating and air systems, refrigeration systems, carpet and hard surface maintenance and “make ready” rooms as assigned.
