Louisville Gardens in Louisville, Ohio is seeking a Part-Time Maintenance Assistant to help keep our building in top shape and running smoothly. If you’re the go-to person for fixing things and enjoy hands-on work, we’d love to meet you.

You’ll perform light repairs, assemble furniture, patch walls, replace fixtures, and help with grounds maintenance and event setups. Safety and reliability are valued, and you’ll work both independently and as part of a friendly team to keep everything clean,

Qualifications

• General handyman or maintenance experience — if you can fix it, patch it, paint it, or make it work, you’re our kind of person
• Someone who takes pride in their work and pays attention to the little things
• A team player who’s reliable and ready to lend a hand
• Ability to work independently and safely with basic tools

Responsibilities

• Fixing equipment and replacing worn-out parts
• Doing small projects like assembling furniture, patching walls, replacing light fixtures, or tightening up loose railings
• Taking care of the grounds — raking, pulling weeds, clearing debris, and keeping outdoor areas tidy
• Helping with event setups and keeping things clean and organized
• Checking on heating and cooling systems and making sure everything’s running smoothly
• Pitching in wherever you're needed — every day is a little different!
