Job summary

Maloney Properties LLC in Lowell, MA is seeking a Part-Time Maintenance Assistant to support a large residential portfolio. You will join the maintenance team responsible for building repairs across painting, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, and HVAC.

You will work 20 hours per week, 7:30am–4:00pm, two and a half days weekly, and contribute to turnover readiness, groundskeeping, and snow removal. You will also update the Yardi work order system and keep managers informed.

Qualifications

• Experience in building repairs and basic maintenance tasks preferred.
• Ability to perform multiple trades (painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry).
• Availability to work 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Performing building repairs such as painting, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, and HVAC.
• Performing preventative maintenance and preparing open apartments for move-in through turnover repairs and improvements.
• Keeping up the appeal and cleanliness of the buildings, including groundskeeping and snow removal.
• Updating the Yardi work order system and keeping managers informed about work in progress or needed.
