Are you handy and reliable? We're seeking a motivated Maintenance Assistant to join our team in Claremont, NH. Responsibilities include general repairs, upkeep, and ensuring a safe and functional environment for all of our locations spanning Sullivan and lower Grafton counties.

Responsibilities may include:

• Performing routine maintenance tasks such as painting and minor plumbing repairs.
• Maintaining grounds and landscaping (if applicable).
• Assisting with equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Ensuring the cleanliness and organization of work areas.
• Identifying and reporting maintenance needs or safety hazards.
• Assisting with setup and breakdown for events as needed.
• Following safety procedures and protocols.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• A High School diploma or equivalent is necessary.
• Proven experience in general maintenance or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Flexible scheduling to meet agency needs, including emergencies.
• Good communication skills.
• Physical ability to perform tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods. Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs regularly.
• Valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation (a maintenance van is available for use).
• Extensive background check required.
