We are seeking a talented Maintenance Assistant to assist with property maintenance and repairs in our luxury assisted living community. In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of property maintenance, including plumbing, carpentry, electrical, painting, furniture assembly, snow removal, equipment repair, and preventative maintenance. HVAC experience is considered a plus. You may interact with residents, their families, guests, and team members, and we expect you to maintain a friendly, courteous, and professional attitude at all times. Your care, attention to detail, and superior customer service are essential to the quality of life and well-being of our residents daily.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Previous maintenance/repair experience in one or more of the noted areas
  • Experience working in a hotel, apartment complex, residential or assisted living community, or skilled nursing facility is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Kind, patient, and compassionate demeanor when interacting with residents, management, families, and guests
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize workloads, and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
  • Stable work history and solid references
  • High school diploma required; some college or advanced training preferred
