Job summary

EMBREY in Austin, TX is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support the Maintenance Supervisor and keep our properties in top condition for residents and staff. You will inspect buildings and equipment, handle unit make-readies, coordinate service requests, and ensure safety and aesthetics across grounds and facilities.

Qualifications

• One year maintenance experience in property management or related field.
• Possession of minimum tools required.
• Ability to be available on call 24 hours, seven days a week.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain the property, buildings and equipment.
• Organize, prioritize and complete unit make-readies, service requests and general maintenance tasks.
• Ensure the grounds, buildings and units are fully functional, safe and attractive.
• Respond to emergency conditions before, during or after business hours.
• Maintain supplies, tools and equipment needed for maintenance and repairs.
