Job summary

Geisinger in the United States is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support General Maintenance Repairmen with projects, deliver tools and materials, and help keep job sites clean and organized. Duties include removing fixtures, painting, light electrical tasks, basic HVCA work, and maintaining records of time and materials; a High School Diploma or GED is required.

Typical shift is 10:30am–7:00pm, Monday to Friday, in an office/facility environment with healthcare benefits for eligible

• Collects and sorts recycling and shredding.
• Assists with painting projects.
• Provides limited electrical services such as changing light bulbs.
• Provides limited HVCA services such as changing filters.
• Reports problems to the supervisor.
• Maintains all tools and equipment in a safe and operable condition.
• Sweeps sidewalks to main entrance as needed.

• Assists with removing built-in fixtures and tearing down walls.
• Collects and sorts recycling and shredding.
• Assists with painting projects.
• Provides limited electrical services such as changing light bulbs, etc.
• Provides limited HVCA services such as changing filters, etc.
• Maintains accurate daily records of time and materials.
• Maintains all tools and equipment in a safe and operable condition.
• Reports problems to the supervisor.
• Assists other trade areas for seasonal requirements as needed.
• Provides assistance with Security as needed.
• Sweeps sidewalks to main entrance as needed.
