Job summary

Stellar Health Group is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to help keep facilities safe and functional in Massachusetts. The role covers general inspections, minor repairs, and assisting with events setup, while ensuring health and safety regulations are followed.

The position supports HVAC, plumbing, electrical tasks, routine cleaning, inventory management, and coordination with supervisors to address unsafe conditions. Full-time on-site employment with competitive benefits is offered.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the inspection of buildings, grounds, and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions
• Troubleshoot and repair issues with HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, fixing leaky faucets, etc
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of events, including moving and arranging furniture
• Conduct minor building, HVAC, plumbing and electrical repairs
• Assist with the daily cleaning of the facilities, including sweeping, mopping and trash removal
• Help with landscape maintenance, including mowing grass, trimming hedges and shoveling snow
• Follow all health and safety regulations and practices on every job
• Maintain inventory of repair supplies and materials
• Communicate with supervisors about unsafe conditions, damaged equipment or supplies needed
