Job summary

HCF in Findlay, OH is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to care for the community’s physical plant, grounds and equipment, ensuring a safe environment for residents.

You will perform grounds maintenance, light repairs, cleaning and assist with in-service education; a high school diploma and valid driver's license are preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintains grounds including mowing, weeding, raking, trimming and snow shoveling.

Description

Position Summary:

A Maintenance Assistant is responsible for the community’s physical plant, grounds and equipment in-order to ensure a safe environment.

Position Responsibilities of a Maintenance Assistant:

• Assists in maintaining the grounds including mowing, weeding, raking, trimming and the shoveling of dirt and snow
• Conducts minor repairs and paints
• Lifts and moves equipment and furniture
• Performs heavy scrubbing, waxing and buffing
• Cleans and maintains sprinklers, exhaust system and filters
• Attend required in-service education

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Must have a valid driver’s license with no restrictions.
